dont be scared to setup on the road that goes up the ridge, that is where I would set up with a bow because when they go up or down the road you will know the exact distance to the center of the road, check the distance between the blind and the center of the road, the birds will eventually travel down or up this road, be patient and use a blind if you have one, it is the easiest way to get drawn on the bird..The property I hunt on has a road that adjoins 2 fields one is on top of a ridge and one is at the bottom of the ridge the road runs inbetween these 2 fields, every year for the last 5 years either I or someone I hunt with has shot a bird on this road, we draw numbers out of a hat before we hunt and whatever number you have is the place that we have numbered that you hunt, everyone hopes for old number 2, that is the road I was talking about...
