I hate the idea of that big of a chunk of lead, but, if you are shooting lead and no copper you do need to go to heavier bullet. The 50 cal/460's give a BC @ .200 and above and when I run them through the calculator they really do fly fairly well. When you go up to 50 caland MV of 1500 fps to get the BC up you are going to have to go up in weight.

Another reason, if I have to use an all lead bullet as the state has mandated,I want a single bullet to shoot both deer and elk with up to 150 yards. If we get a ML season up here in northern Idaho it might only be a 7 day season so I will only be using the lead conical for a short time.

I have shot both Dave Steven's - 50/460NE's and Dans 50/460Nex Bull Shops and they really do shoot well and I am not a fan of the PowerBelts.
