I just flattened a roundball slightly in my vise and drove it through the bore-don't try to drive it through the breech plug threads-then go the other way withthe ramrod as far as you can. With the muzzle pointingdown drop the rod down from 8 inches or so above the ball until it comes out the muzzle end. High spots are groove dia.,lows are bore size.
