Default RE: Best REST for: "hunting" and "target shooting"

hey there

I had a WB and hated that thing, I couldn't keep vanes on my arrows it was chewing them to pieces, I had the techs on the phone with me for about 2 weeks, they finally decided to just send me out a new one and it did the same thing so I threw it in the garbage and bought a new rest. I've gone through a few since then and couldn't find one that I was really happy with until now....

I just reciently bought an APA Ultimate safari mirco rest, I know some guys have the twister but I find the twister to be loud when it twsts after shot and I want mine for hunting and 3D so noise is a factor. I am very partial to containment rest because I do alot of ground work when I hunt. If I were just shooting 3D there is no doubt I would use a drop away rest, they are amazing but I also want something for hunting and to me that means a containment rest as I have had my arrow leave my rest at the worst possible time.

well either way good luck with your choice
