I've taken shots at walking deer with my slug gun and pistol, walking coyotes with my rifle. Moving upland and waterfoul birds...all the time.

With my bow however, I will not shoot unless the deer is stopped and I have a good clear shot of the vitals. I have a self imposedyardage limit of 40 +/-but honestly haven't shot at anything past 30yds in a long time. Most of my stands are located in spots whereI don't have any lanes past 30 yds.....makes my decision easy and limits long shot opportunities all together.

Thats just me....
