I currently use the golden premier fall away on my 3-D bow. I have had great luck with it & it should make a fine hunting rest. I know a couple of guys who use the Mirage and they are very happy too. my local dealer sells a lot of trap doors but after testing it I found it wasn't for me when it came to hunting.

like anything else try before you buy. for hunting I still use a Royal 3-D rest (same as the 3-D Rover but different launcher arms). I have found for me it is the best hunting rest I have found. When it comes to hunting I like solid, sturdy, simple, and accurate.
