Default RE: Vac. Packing deer meat

anything with fluids, like sauses or gravys.fresh meats that have blood coming out you can fold a papper towel and place it in the front of the bag to catch the blood.

you don't want fluids going into the channel where the sucktion hole is.

what I do is when we get things like jibblett gravey to go with the turkey,we put it into a square or oblong pan,put it in the freezer till hard then bag and vac.

as you go along, you will get the hang of it.
my wife uses a lot of nuts to bake with,so I cut the rolls into small bags so I can put one cup in them, then they are already measured for her.it is amazing how it will vac. nuts.the jerkey will be like the ones in the store.the meats will not be as hard and tight as something hard.if it is frozen it will be hard.(I guess it is because it gets all the air out from between the nuts)

hope this helps. Happy Holidays.

I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest

remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.
