no problem Who; just put it in the bag and vacume.as a matter of fact you have to freeze some foods before you can vacume them.I have use a vac. sealer for the last 4 or 5 years now,that is the only way to put deer meat in the freezer.
I just take a permanate marker and put the item and date on the top edge.

it works great to put venison jerkey in small bags for gifts.it also keeps for years.
