well smoke pole season is going great. We have seen anywhere from 20-35 deer each day that we have been out so far. It is a shame to have to go into work today and Friday, but I can't ask for much more. We have located a large buck with 10 points to him we have affectionately nicknamed him Bullwinkle. The only problem we encountered was that he stood 15 yards in from of one of our shooters that already filled his antlered tag. But a few more does for the group and at least one more saturday to hunt so we should hopefully get a few more baldies to fill the fridge. I still have my antlered or antlerless tag so I have my fingers crossed that Bullwinkle will cross my path hopefully this Saturday. If He doesn't show by noon. I might just have to get me another doe. Yeah well at least I know he should be around next year for archery season.
