My trigger was sooooooo bad that I could take the unloaded gun, and hang it from my finger BY THE TRIGGER......AND BOUNCE IT UP AND DOWN and it still wouldn't trip the hammer!! <img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>
Everyone in my group......well 5 of us anyway.....all shoot the "PA Hunter" and every one has gotten rid of that trigger in favor of a set assembly. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
And you really should try those Power Belts.......They shoot great in every single one of our guns. In fact I'm getting the best accuracy I've ever gotten with mine using them......even better than the round balls it was designed to shoot.
The Powerbelts also load so much better.....they just firmly slide down the barrel and the plastic gas cup at the bottom must create a nice seal because man is it accurate!
As much as I liked the "Traditional Feel" of shooting a roundball, they absolutely don't even begin to compare to the results of the Powerbelts on deer. I will never go back myself, and I shot roundballs for years.
It's not too late to pick up a pack of those bullets and get er' sighted in......since you're already in for your roundballs it might only take a few shots and very little sight adjustment. Mine shot pretty close when I switched.
