I recommend constructing a giant duck out of wood and paper mache which you can wear as a frame. You will walk up slowly on the pond, quacking realistically using your preferred duck call,supporting your giant duck body on your shoulders, take off the frame as you reach the pond, and then shoot out of a small strategically located hole in the side of the giant duck body.
