I have used cow pattie sent for years.
I take a couple fresh patties,put them in a bucket with a quart or so of water,stir well.let settle,then strain.let settle again,strain through a couple layers of cotton colth. put into a spray bottle.(if you don't strain real well a couple tomes it will stop the sprayer up )

I only use it on my boots,the wife gets upset if I get it on my pants.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_clown.gif border=0 align=middle>.
if I run out,then I do like you say,step on a pattie. works real well.

I spray my cloths and hat along with myslef with,H.S.Sents , sent-a-way spray,then the cow cover.
