He did not say it was easy, he said it was easier to kill a deer with a gun. Think about what he said, and not read into it he is correct.
Now you made some great points about the what is different between the season, I think he was just talking about killing.
Killing?? It's easier with a car..but if they are not jumping in front of you on the road you can't run them down.

I see your point, but if welook at numbers. Why are their more gun hunters? Why more compounders then trad?
I do not think he was saying it "was easy", one form of hunting is easier then others.
IMO stalking with a Shot gun is harder then shooting a deer with a bow from a tree stand.
