While i was archery elk hunting i had a real nice buck on video in velvet. I managed to sneak up to him later on in the evening using a bale as a shield with the wind blowing in my face. He was at 20 yards however he was in the shadows of the forest edge as the sun was goin down fast. I drew but could not pick him out in my sights so i let off. That was august and i am thinking this is the same deer i killed in october. He was taken in the within 10 yards of where i drew on the august buck. This august buck looked alot bigger but it may have been the velvet that through me off. They both had 6 points on one side so i thought maybe it was the same one. Have to get a few more opinons on the video i have and the rack to be certain.
