RE: 279" B&C Typical 7x7
I have seen another taxidermist guyI know, play with antlers and make bigger racks by taking tines off of smaller racks, attaching, using antler filler, and then putting on a cape. I think guys in the trade or business of taxidermy like to play around at times. I tell you, this guy's work was goodandit would have taken a good eye and actual testing of the rack, to tell the difference between real and fake. He did it for his own enjoyment and never tried to pass them off as real. He was just proud of his "customization". Probably no different than a a guy chopping the roof on his hotrod and slamming it to the ground and a hell of a lot cheaper than buying reproduction antlers. He never did something as outrageous as these though.
