the first one weighed 28 pounds and had a 10 inch beard with 3/4 inch spurs. my second turkey was taken from the same location as well, in thelate morning. the other one was 25 pounds with a 10 inch beard and 3/4 inch spurs.


Don't get me wrong, I'm not doubting you, but the birds you described are 2 or 3 year olds according to the spur length. Those are some pretty big gobblers for that age. Where in the hell are you hunting? That's not near as unbelievable as the guy who said on this forum he killed a 24 pound jake. Are ya'll feeding those turkeys steroids? Heck, a 28 pound turkey is a monster whatever his age is.
