Redhawk, you inquired about people hunting alone at an early age. I was hunting alone with a 22 at age 8. I was hunting rabbits or squirrels daily. I got my first shotgun at 11 or 12 and spent time everyday during the season hunting ruffed grouse and rabbits. My brother and I started running a trap line at 12 and 15. I ran a trap line on the river and nearby ponds until I graduated from highschool and went off to college.
