A friend of mine (a serious archer) was telling me about back tension releases this morning. He uses them for hunting as well as target shooting. Apparently, the big advantage is the surprise break you get on the arrow release. Anyone have any experience with these for a hunting release? He says a vast majority of target shooters use them.
