I think you missed my point.What you said was hitting a pie plate every time at 100 yds is ready to hunt. Now you say you wait for the perfect shot. To me ,the shot I took was the perfect shot. I know my rifle,my load and my skill level. Had I been a bit shakey,or if there were brush etc in the way,it would not have been the "perfect" shot. As you stated in a previous post,"I know my limits and don't exceed them but I don't push myself too hard" I also know my limitations,and the "shot" was well within my limits.I agree with you 100% I say if you lack the confidence,do not shoot.
