Default RE: Friction Calls ?

Friction calls are fantastic. They are my favorite call for everything, hunting, contest calling, looking at . My favorite surface is slate because I just think they sound the best. I like glass too, and I carry a M.A.D Aluminator for striking birds. Custom calls are where it's at. My favorite call of all that I've got is the Tough Country by Blodgett Calls in New York. The call is larger than most, fits my hand nicely, and is just plain pretty. It's louder than any slate I've ran. For strikers I prefer the laminated maple striker made by Blodgett, and the laminated sticks from Ted Peters. Here soon I'd like to get a glass call from either Jerry "Dad" White or Vaughn's. Along with some more strikers.
