I do not remember seeing this posted on here but I just read, in either the local paper or the PA Outdoor News, that the Game Commission was considering extending our current archery season. In the proposal, strictly for the special reg. areas if I remember correctly, they were looking at starting the season in mid September and then allowing it during the two week period before rifle and then from after rifle season until the regular after Christmas hunt. Those "extensions" would be doe only and would effectively allow archery hunting from mid-September through February in the special regs areas.

Did this go anywhere for those that were in attendance at the meeting?
