Default 2006 in Retrospect

Now that my 2006 season is finally over, I am left looking back at the year it was. The 2006 has been by far my most successful season yet, with taking 2 deer and my first one with a bow. I hunted harder this year than in seasons past and it payed off with me seeing more deer than ever before. They sure aren't record numbers but they are good with me. Just as every year though it leaves room for improvements, equipment changes, and trying different things. Next year I will have more stands and be more prepared for each wind and whatnot because i learned this year how important it is not to overhunt a stand. One big thing for 07 is that I am going to try to land my first gobbler, it leaves me with something to pass the time until deer season gets here, but before you know it, it will be time to go out and re hang stands, plant food plots, trim lanes. It seems like a long time to go but it will be here before you know it. Finally, I am going to leave you with my 2006 sucessful harvests.....
