Lil,

Ok....maybe I am not getting your point. But you said at 15 yards a deer can't react in time to 280ft/second bow. If the speed of sound is 732 ft/sec (if my memory serves me right) correct me if I am wrong.... my question is ....why couldn't that be enough time for a deer to gather itself and duck at 15 yards?

Like I said maybe I am not understanding your logic. Second...no matter the pitch all sound travels at the same speed.
