Got up early this morning and took the coyote caller out to a farm with a reputation for having a few. It was warm enough(around freezing) but windy. I called for 4/5 min and then sat 1/2hr or so. Moved around and repeated, until it became obvious the 'yotes weren't out and about. A coyote with the longbow is something I havn't done yet. The day quickly turned into a stump-shoot and I managed to miss a squirrel.
Took the dogs later for quail....ain't winter grand!
Best part is, I have the next 11 days off work...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
