I wonder about the recoil. When I was building Hawken rifles I used to proof test them with 240 gr of FF Goex and 2 patched balls loaded one on top the other very tight; Of course I did not fire from the shoulder , I had a gun vise bolted to an old tire inside a cement block barricade. I pulled the long string from behind a building too you never know when their might be a flaw in the barrel. Lee
