Well you see people all the time who imitate others just because they've seen it on TV, in a movie or video. Are you the one who's going to keep such people with poor judgement out of the woods or fields. It does matter if "they shouldn't"... the fact is a certain number of people who have no business, experience, or sense enough to effectively make extraordinarily long shots on animals WILL do it, just to try to show their buddies that they can "shoot beyond belief."
My point is simple. If someone has the equipment, knowledge, experience and is successful in some long range shooting of big game. Don't video it and spread it on the Internet and on cable programs with the direct or implied message. "Yeah, I did this... so can you!" It's disrespecting hunting as a sport and the animals we hunt. I don't like that at all.[:'(]
