That's a common misperception in Illinois; that leasing land for farming conveys hunting rights too. I was told by the DNR that it doesn't, unless there is specific mention of exclusive hunting rights. Lot's of folks don't know that though and give people permission to hunt land that they farm. Dunno if that type of mistake is worth sending someone to jail.
