Default RE: Pronghorn question

Every hunt area in Wyoming is "Limited Quota", or drawing only for residents as well as non-residents. The only OTC licenses will be those tags "left over" after two drawings. The first drawing is the initial one, but then the G&F has a second drawing for those leftover tags. If any tags are left after the 2nd drawing, they become available as OTC tags.

Confusing? You better believe it!

BUT! Some areas will have up to a 1,000 tags available to draw which really improves your chances of drawing. If not the first go-round, then the second. You wouldn't know what areas have OTC tags until the 2nd drawing results are made available, which is well into July or even August.

Now, having said that, there are tons of lopes here and your chances of harvesting one is 100%. I said chances. Wyoming is mostly public land as well. No shortage of places to hunt.

Hope this has been helpful.
