Larger deer in northern regions
I was bummed to find the deer evolution thread shut down before I had a chance to reply.
My first thought was of the principle where animals that live farther north, grow bigger than animals in warmer climates due to the surface area to size ratio. Isn't this an evolved trait?
We all know you get an adult buck in saskatchewon and its going to be WAYYYYY bigger than the same aged buck in texas.
