I think the whole CWD thing is stupid. People out west have been exposed to and been consuming CWD contaminated meat for over a decade and no one has died or even gotten sick from it. I understand its bad for the herds and I agree with it needing to be controlled, but not for the reasons the media sends out. They want us to fear that eating deer is dangerous to ones health because of CWD. I don't buy it.

There are a few other theories I've heard from others too. I've heard more than a few people say something like this: The CWD deer eating scare is just a ploy from the very liberal, tree hugger friendly Madison to get people to stop hunting.

I dont but into that either because the state needs the money that is generated by our liscense and gear sales.
