Wow, Thanks for all the replies. Keep them coming if you want. It appears to me that it is still a matter of opinion. I will probably leave it loaded for half the season, and cover the end of the barrel, it just sucks that you have to waist the sabot and powder, I guess it's part of muzzleloading though.
