I got a 7600 (in .270)a few yrs back (8?)marked down($385?) at walmart.

Nice rifle, never had any problems with it & it shoots real well to.

I dont like the fancy wood much myself it came with- it use to look nice.(yep its pretty scratched up from use now)

That weathermater in stainless, with synthtic stock sounds real nice to me.
(i like im ugly)
