I adopted a 4 month old small black and white female dog from New Orleans after Katrina. She has a 2 color black with a kind of blacker stripe running up herback with longer hairs. She has a white blaze on her chest 4 white feet and a white tip on her long tail. The black on her sides shows a hint of brown in blotches under the hair. She looks like a catahoula from a body standpoint. I was thinking she was a cross with a lab and Pitbull but her herdinggot me curious. She will herd any other animal and is extremly fast and adjile. I started to look at catahoulas on the web and actually found a picture of a black and white one with a while tip onthe tail that looked a lot like my dog. I live on a lake in Vermont and this dog just loves to chase sticks into the water in the summer. She loves the snow and is a perfect pet.
