I think there has always been a certain facination with large antlers, but it did used to be about the meat. Nowwe're not reliant on it so the focus goes more towards big antlers. I believe if not hunting for meat, most hunters would rather kill a big buck rather than a small one, if given a choice.Just not the way Houston does it!
