I agree with you on this. There is nothing wrong with showing reality to them at a young age. My daughter loves to sit around with me and watch hunting shows. One of her dreams is to kill a caibou with her bow. When she got her first deer with a bow this past season she had to carry the heart back to camp and show her grandpa where the broadhead went through it.
