Default RE: Arrow speed

With a real clean release, you could expect 175fps with a 550gr arrow.
I'm thinking a little less than thatwith the dacron string and 11 gr/# on the arrow weight. If you get the full 28" on the draw, I believe you'll see more in the 165-170 fps range with the arrow weight mentioned.Adraw lengthlongerthan 28" willpick it up a littleand, conversely, you'll loose a little speedif your draw is under 28". Speed wise, it'll be a very different creature than your compound, even with light carbon arrows. If you're real curious about thespeed you're getting, weigh your arrows and find a chronograph. All we can really do here is a roung estimation without knowing your draw length and total arrow weight you're going to be using. As mentioned by BC, your release can also add or subtract a few fps.
