I the only bad I can see in them is they are little taller than 4" vanes, and if you have a riser with any sort of clearance issues, blazers can be worse.
I see in your avatar you are shooting a long bow looks like

I would agree if you are shooting traditonal or recurve bows Blazers are not the best thing to use
I say stick with feathers for these types of bows or older compounds that has similar configurations as recurve shelf and Face

But forlater modelcompoundsIt is really not an issue.
