Default RE: Politically correct bowhunters

Let's compare bowhunting and hunting to another hobby for a lot of people. This is in Jeff's homestate, NASCAR. Nascar brings money to the state it is raced in with sales tax I presume on each ticket sale., taxes on the sale of alcohol and food served at the event. Millions of dollars probably generated for each state that holds the event. Now at alocal level, we have motels, restaurants, fuel, and other shopping that nascar fans spend their money on while in the particular town it is held and along the way while they travel to the race. What does nascar do good for the wel being of the environment or anything for that matter. Nothing. It pollutes the air with exhaust, wastes precious fuels, fills landfills up with used tires, and so does the trash generated by the fans in beer and food container waste. Is the state of NC or any other state going to ban it? Hell NO. MONEY. How about if Jeff Gordon isn't ethical in his driving and runs a guy in the wall, or has an affair with his pit drivers wife. Is the sport going to be outlawed because of his unethical or what others feel as unethical performance?I think not. Money talks. If you think hunting or bowhunting is going to be outlawed because of a few anti peta groups, I don't blame you. We have been brought upwith thisbelieve for a long time from groups of huntersthat make us paranoid that this is going to happen. Money runs everything people, always has and always will.
