Have you ever seen a picture of a buck on the contest page with a guy in camo holding its' antlers and wondered if it was alive or dead based on the amount of blood visible or not?
I guess I ahve not really thought about that. I always assume it's dead if the hunter is holding it.
What harm does cleaning the deer up for the photo do???
No harm at all and I understand why it is cleaned up. I think we do however need to be careful watering down what we do. Not the best route to take imo if we are interested in gaining acceptance.
