don't know enough about ecollars for me to suggest that you even try to do such a thing. Ecollars are used to enforce an already known command -- and NOT to keep the dog at home.

Second that. The dog has to beproperly collar condition first of all, I would take it to a pro and have it done if that is the route you choose.
