I seriously do have a horseshoe up my arse when it comes to moose sheds. I loveit too cause i find them far more intersting than deer sheds. 99.9% of the moose sheds i find are near water sources weather that be a slough, river pond etc. I had a pretty good run this past year. I found a nice shed early in the spring near a sloughthen found a 50 inch bull that had been killed back deep in the park next to the river.Skull, and paddles were all bleached but i tied it to my back and hauled er out. Then while poking around by the river back in the park this summer i found a reeeealllly nice set of brown 40 inchers laying right on my trail. and finally while home over christams i found a little paddle while waking the edge of a slough. I don't think it is the water its the young red willows and grub that hangs around the watery areas that hold the moose there.
