As you can tell by my name I'm not used to carrying around things that go bang but I'm trying to take on flintlock hunting this year. My top questions are: Do I need to shoot this thing after every day out? If yes, do I use warm water & soap? If yes, Do I take the lock completely off and soak it in the water and then brush it? Finally, what do I put on these steel parts after cleaning and drying it off?
(This all seems like an awful lot of work to me!)
