Default RE: Oneida Bows

I had one back in the early 90's. I found that they were pretty easy to keep in tune and to work on but you have to put in the time to learn a new system. I think that's why they got a bad rep. and few people actually wanted to work on them. If you've got a little mechanical aptitude and the owners manual you should be able to keep it maintained with little trouble. For the speed they generate, I doubt you'll find a smoother draw cycle. I'd be leary of hunting out of a blind with one due to the limb travel and space limitations. I finally got rid of mine when I started hunting in the mountains instead of from stands (it was heavy) and because I could never get it as quiet as I wanted.
