ORIGINAL: BullRider115I went to high school in Gwinn for a bit, lived in the wee town of Arnold on almost 3700 acres, population 16. There was nothing better than bowhunting October up there with 10" of snow on the ground...... Sure do miss that place!!!!!!!
Small world, eh? My daughter graduated from Gwinn in 2003 and my son's a senior there now. We live on a lake between Gwinn and Arnold - they weighed in a 500+ lb bear down there last fall!

I killed a nice doe with my bow in a foot of fresh snow on October 14th. (yeah, I know - that rhymes)

Once a Yooper, always a Yooper!
Just curious... Is Carl's Knotty Pine Bar still there and Cott's General store?
I use to be in the Knotty Pine daily while my Grandpa played cribbage against this old guy named Zip.... You ever heard of the DeBackers?? Largest tater farmers in those parts. The memories, the memories.... Escanaba State Fair!! Good times............ I painted the church in Watson in 1987, punishment for riding my 4 wheeler all the way to Escanaba to see a girl, got caught just past the Mead Plant at 2 am... Gpa was not happy with me, called me the midnight rider till the day he past LOL......
