Just a little food for thought. Here is one of the methods that I use for obtaining low cost recievers. In spring,I cruise pawn shops for rifles that look as if they have been drug behind a truck. AS you will be discarding the stock and barrel anyway,usually the action is still functional,and you can pick up the rifle for a fraction of a new reciever.
