Well last year we tried a strutting jake for the first time. We had every type of gobbler come in. We also had every type of gobbler shy away. We used them on rios, merriams, osceolas, and easterns. Its like anything when it comes to hunting. Sometimes thing will work sometime they dont. I like to use them because when you do get one to commit. They usually put ona pretty good show. Good luck
