Default RE: REMINGTON 710

i bought a 710 2 years ago, in a 7mm and have put probably a hundred rounds through it, i have killed a couple moose with it, one bull i dropped on the run at 350 yards, yeah the bolt is a little rough, but as with just about any long action you have to take it off your shoulder to reload it, and i have never had a problem reloading it with a moose downrange, it isnt going to be a tack driver, but you dont have to be able to touch bullets at 100 yards, to kill anything bigger than a butterfly, it shoots three inch groups with pretty good concistency at 200 yards which will take down just about anything

i figure its the shooter, not the rifle that makes the shot, and i bought the gun as a tool to bring down game, not to look pretty, and if it brings down moose for 4 or 5 years until i can afford to buy a nicer gun, then it did its job
