Default RE: Remington 280 loads

ORIGINAL: mmanincor

Is any one shooting 140 grain Accubonds from their 280? I have a new on the way, and was curious what the best powder choice has been for this caliber. Thanks, Mark
Mark, what rifle is it? If it is a bolt action, no problem, slow powders from IMR 4350to RE22 and even as slow as IMR7828 will work well.

If it is a Remnington semiauto, you should use powders no slower than IMR 4320 in it, to keep port pressures down to non-damaging levels.....
