RE: Anyone shoot a FN Rifle?
Not to split hairs but the Pre-64 Win 70 has a Mauser 98 style claw extractor not the other way around.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
Most mauser military rifles have a bare unblued crown- this is normal and often the way they were made, though I'm not sure about commercial rifles. If the action is well bedded it should shoot like a champ, though I would check the feed from the magazine to make sure it doesn't scratch your cases which will take a little bit of polishing to fix.
Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms... who's bringing the chips?
