Just kidding, I don't have any experience with the FN, but the way you describe it, it has the Mod. 70 Pre-64 claw extractor, which is one of the greatest advantages the pre-64 has over the post 64 models. I'd say go to something like snipercountry.com or benchrest.com or something like that and ask them there, this board won't help you much when you're talking about specific target rifles, it's all hunting here for the most part.
